The Shockwave Player enables you to access some of the best the Web has to offer - including dazzling 3D games and entertainment, interactive product demonstrations, and online learning applications. System requirements:

The 3DMUSE Generator needs to run on a minimum screen resolution of 1024*768 pixels.

The following system requirements pertain to viewing 3D content with the Shockwave Player. Keep in mind that these are minimum system requirements. Lower-end systems that still meet these requirements will likely perform significantly slower than higher-end systems.

  • Pentium III 600 MHz (with current a hardware accelerated 3D graphics card)
  • Microsoft Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP
  • DirectX version 5 (or newer)
  • 64MB System RAM for playback
  • 16MB Video RAM for 16-bit usage on hardware accelerated 3D graphics card
  • Browsers: Netscape 6.x, IE 5.x, Mozilla/Firefox 1.0

Note : the term "current" as applied to hardware-accelerated 3D graphics cards refers to products released during 1998 or later. Performance varies among graphics cards . These products are often referred to as "second-generation 3D graphics cards." The latest 3D graphics cards make use of features like 32-bit rendering, multi-texturing, alpha-blending (transparency), anti-aliasing, etc.

Being that the application is running through the computer's graphics card, the quality of the presented content is higher as the graphics card is more advanced.

More over, the recourses required from the computer and the graphics card are correspondent to the size of the stage. Thus, the bigger your stage size is - the more resources are required to process the information. The bigger the stage size is defined, the higher are the needed resources from the computer and graphics card.

If difficulties are still encountered during the running of the published content, right-click with in the limits of the stage - the properties menu of the Shockwave player will appear. Click on the "3D Render" and try changing the other given options.

In case difficulties are still encountered, try uninstalling and re-installing the Shockwave Player. For uninstalling use Windows add/remove programs feature or click here to download the Uninstaller.

At any stage use the navigation buttons - forward, pause and rewind - to examine closely the environment as it is being created.
